Posted on Saturday, June 18, 2005 - 22:46 GMTMy 35 inch Sanyo TV model DS35580 has a problem. The sceen went black with only one thin line in the middle of the screen.I called customer support but they were closed for the weekend. This TV is at least 7 yrs old.
Don't know if it is fixable, but am trying to get any information on what may have caused this.' My husband thinks it was caused from being left on too long'.
I don't tend to think so becuase it had only been on for about an hour when it happened. Anyhow, any information on how to fix it, a service manual, or diagram would be awesome.
Posted on Saturday, October 29, 2005 - 10:58 GMTI have a Sanyo C20DN4AVN and when unplugged in the Power button, in the TV, when I turn it on, there is no image, just this weird sound (like an old motorcycle). I've send it to repair, but the guy said it was too expensive to repair it, and that he had changed the power source, but the problem persists. Somehow,he managed to turn it on (after trying 20 -30 times), and said not to turn it off in the tv only in the remote (leave it in standby). Does someone know what the problem may be?Because I think he's ripping me off, I shouldn't pay for a temporary solution, especially if I think that he didn't do a thing. Any help is aprecciated. Posted on Friday, January 06, 2006 - 06:09 GMTI have a 36' AVM3680G. It is a 2001 model.
Aug 17, 2012 Where is the serial number at on my Sanyo - Sanyo 42 in.
When I turned it on it worked fine but then all the red colours left making for a blue green yellowish colour. When I tried to adjust this in the manual tint mode, the G for green was lit up but the R for red came on for a few seconds and the picture was great but soon went back to the blue-green colour. Can I get a service manual or schematic for this model or can anyone help diagnose the problem from this description?
Posted on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 - 18:22 GMTCE28WN3-B Sanyo TV When the temperature drops outside my house to below zero my TV cannot cope with Sky. I always thought this was the fault of the dish but we are now running SKY+ and have the old sky box linked up to another tv in another room and that runs fine, no matter what temperature, so that knocks the 'dish' theory on the head.
It was -5 outside last night and we have really good heating in the house so can anyone shed any light on this. We could not see any picture at all on any Sky channel last night but we did record on sky plus and when that recording was replayed this morning it had recorded perfectly. This all leads me now to believe it is a fault of the TV.
Any suggestions? TV only 5/6 years old and it is now 18:14pm Tuesday 31st Jan. And the temperature has fallen rapidly outside and the interference on Sky has started again. It begins with a few vertical lines which eventually take over the whole screen and the sound goes too. Sorry for the essay but any help would be great.
Posted on Saturday, February 04, 2006 - 13:51 GMTI have a 14' sanyo TV (for some 5 years now). The model on the back says C 14 PTX, which is weird because i can't find anything about it anywhere. I've tried searching for anything in it resembling a number format like the ones i normally see posted - to no avail. Thing is, now i need to center the screen for it, so i need to access the service menu. The body only has the power button, channel -and+ and volume -and+ buttons. The remote is kinda similar to the 14AT2-C model (sanyo fisher sales europe website). I tried to search for the service menu code out there but no luck whatsoever.
I know it's not much to go on in terms of specification. If anyone would happen to know the code for this one please email thank you.
